What this site collects
Browsing this site does not require you to provide any personal data. No account, no form, no newsletter. Data is only collected when you take one of the following actions.
- Booking a call. The booking is handled by Calendly, which collects your name, email address and the details you choose to share. That data is processed on their servers under their own privacy policy.
- Emailing us. Your address and the content of your message are kept for as long as needed to answer you and to manage the commercial relationship that may follow.
Why we process it
Solely to answer your request, prepare and hold the call, and manage the commercial relationship that may result. The legal basis is your consent when you contact us, and the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps once a project starts.
Your data is never sold, rented or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes.
How long it is kept
Contact and booking data is kept for three years from the last contact. Accounting records tied to a signed engagement are kept for the legal retention period.
Cookies
This site sets no cookie of its own, and uses no analytics or advertising tracker. Booking a call takes you to the scheduling service, which applies its own policy once you are on its page. The host keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Where your data goes
Your data leaves the European Union. Calendly keeps bookings on its own servers, and everything else is handled outside the EU, in a country for which there is no adequacy decision. The transfer happens because you chose to get in touch, and it is limited to what is needed to answer you and hold the call.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction or its deletion, and object to its use. Write to alan@leadshort.com and you get an answer within one month. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom and you believe your rights are not respected, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
